Jet Stores are one of South Africa’s favourite clothing retailers, offering affordable fashion for the whole family. If you have a Jet Store account, managing it properly can help you stay on top of your payments, avoid penalties, and keep track of your purchases. While Jet does not currently offer full online shopping through your Jet Account, there are still many ways you can manage your account digitally and in-store.
Using Your Jet Store Account
Your Jet Store account allows you to shop at any Jet store across South Africa. You simply present your Jet Account card at the till when making purchases. Currently, you cannot use your Jet Account to shop online. All purchases must be made in person at Jet stores. However, there are some digital tools linked to TFG (The Foschini Group) services that can help you manage your account better.
Checking Your Balance
To stay informed about how much you owe or what credit is available, you can check your Jet Account balance in-store at any Jet or TFG store. If you prefer digital access, you can link your Jet Account to a TFG Money Account profile. This may allow you to check your balance online or through mobile services, such as WhatsApp or TFG’s online portal.
Making Payments
Payments on your Jet Account are currently accepted only at Jet stores. It’s important to note that while you can check your balance at TFG stores, you cannot make Jet Account payments there. Payments might take up to two days to reflect on your account, so try to pay before your due date to avoid interest charges or late fees.
How to Pay Online
Although you can’t pay directly through the Jet website, Jet is linked to TFG’s broader financial services, especially the TFG Money Account. By linking your Jet Account to this system, you may be able to make digital payments using platforms like Bash (TFG’s online shopping and account management portal). This is useful for those who want to manage their account from their smartphone or computer.
Getting Statements and Notifications
To stay up to date with your Jet Account activity, you can choose to receive monthly statements via SMS or email. These statements show your balance, purchases, and due dates. If you’re not already receiving digital statements, you can call Jet or visit a store to request this service. You can also view mini statements via WhatsApp or get full detailed statements through a secure online portal.
What to Do if Your Card is Lost or Stolen
If your Jet Account card is lost or stolen, you should report it immediately by calling Jet’s Customer Service. You will also need to go to a TFG store with your ID to get a new card issued. This helps protect your account from fraudulent use.
Making Returns and Getting Refunds
If you’re not happy with a product you bought on your Jet Account, you can return it to any Jet or TFG store. Make sure you bring the till slip and your Jet Account card with you. Once your return is processed, the refund will be credited back to your Jet Account.
Opening a Jet Account Online
If you don’t yet have a Jet Account, you can apply for one online. You’ll need to register with a username and password, and fill in your personal, shipping, and billing details. This includes credit information if needed. Once approved, your account can be used at any Jet store, and you’ll also gain access to other TFG-linked services.
Managing Jet Club Membership
Many Jet Account holders also subscribe to Jet Club. This is a monthly membership service that gives you access to magazines, competitions, and discounts. The fee is billed to your Jet Account, and you can manage your membership through the same customer service channels or online if your account is linked to a TFG digital profile.
Cancelling Your Jet Account
If you decide that you no longer need your Jet Account, you must submit a cancellation request and provide at least 30 days’ notice. Be sure to settle any outstanding balance and export or save any important account information. Also, log out of all devices linked to the account.

Even though you can’t do online shopping directly with your Jet Account, there are many ways you can manage your account online or through digital tools. By connecting your Jet Account to services like TFG Money or Bash, you gain access to account statements, digital payments, and better customer service. Staying informed and managing your account well will save you money and keep your credit in good standing.
