Admission Requirements
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Citizenship and Residency:
Must be a South African citizen residing in Gauteng Province.
Educational Qualifications:
Must hold one of the following certificates:
A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Senior Certificate (Vocational) Level 4.
Added preference will be given to those who studied in Quintile 1, 2, or 3 schools in Gauteng, particularly from townships, informal settlements, and hostel communities.
Required Subjects:
English (Home Language or First Additional Language)
Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
Life Sciences
Other relevant subjects to meet the requirements for the Senior Certificate.
Additional Requirements:
Applicants should have obtained an APS of 27 or more, with Mathematics HG D or SG C and a score of 50% or more in English.
Current Grade 12 learners must meet the National Senior Certificate requirements and provide proof of these results when available.
